Just as the good times come to an end, so do the bad times.

I have recently been having a stressful week. I don’t really feel like going into a lot of detail as to what was going on as I’d rather move on from it. Basically I’ve had two separate people deciding to create a vendetta against me based on things they’ve made up (I know. I’m just a normal guy who wants to get on with his life but apparently that’s not my choice).

Anyway, it’s been very stressful and I’ve even spoken to the local police a couple of times taking my contact with the police up to three times.

But then I remembered my mindfulness practice. These people are making up things about me. They’re acting in passive aggressive ways and it boils down to the fact that it’s out of my control. There’s nothing I can say or do to change these things. It’s like a problem with a solution isn’t a problem any more and a problem without a solution is just something you have to deal with.

Does their actions directly have an impact on my existence? No. Can I change their behaviour? No.

Another thing I remembered is the transience of life. It maybe a stressful time but it’ll pass. Life at the moment is sucky but it’ll make the less sucky time a lot better.

Just as the good times come to an end, so do the bad times.
